This guy wolfgang bought bill graham's stuff? While someone may have bought the rights to these things from bill graham's estate (or sfx or then clear channel - for which uncle bobo must really rolling over in his grave), i was always under the impression it was named wolfgang's vault because wolfgang was bill's original first/birth name (as in wolfgang amadeus mozart). can anyone clarify?

Bill Graham was born Wolfgang Grajonca in Berlin, the youngest son of a Jewish family that had emigrated to Germany prior to the rise of Nazism. Graham's father died when he was a baby. As it became increasingly difficult for Jews to survive in Nazi Germany, Graham's mother placed Graham and his younger sister in an orphanage in Berlin. This turned out to be fortunate, as the orphanage sent them to France as a pre–Holocaust exchange of Jewish children for Christian orphans.

Anyone remember how Bill went off when Reagan went to Bitburg and then cemetery?

There's a 68 Albert King show (don't know where) at sugarmegs:

Haven't listened to it - currently streaming some 63 Coltrane from Birdland that just got posted on new additions. They have tons and tons of Miles, Trane, Mingus, Monk, etc.

Thanks for that..6-11-68..if I'm not mistaken (and I very well could be) that was one of the shows at the Fillmore during with Live Wire Blues Power and Tuesday (and Wednesday) night in San Francisco were recorded. My then gf and I were there for 2 of the 3 nights. I was, and still am, an Alberthead.

Now, if I can just figure out how to listen to that one ;-)
